Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician Programme

A fully funded NHS led programme available to pharmacy technicians which is designed to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for this role

Supports technicians to be able to provide the final accuracy check of dispensed medicines that have been clinically screened or approved by a pharmacist and assembled and labelled by another team member

The ACPT programme is open to pharmacy technicians in England who are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

The programme is fully funded by the NHS England Pharmacy Integration Fund for pharmacy technicians working in community pharmacy or health and justice in England. The pathway is fully funded by Health Education England for pharmacy technicians working in secondary care in London and South East England.
