Useful tool to be used by the team when experiencing 'Out of Stock' situations
The LMC have raised the issue of variability in the quality of interactions between community pharmacies and GPs with regard to medicine shortages.
To help manage a more consistent approach to this common occurrence, CPSC have adopted an ‘Out of Stock’ template for use by our contractors. We propose that following through the recommended 'best practice' actions check-list, will help to clarify each individual stock situation and therefore justify each recommended request being made to the GP.
