This is a reminder that community pharmacists and pharmacy technicians have a fantastic opportunity to join an NHS Leadership Academy (NHSLA) Mary Seacole Leadership Programme for community pharmacy.

In this NHS-led flagship programme, you will develop your leadership and management skills to enable you to drive quality services in community pharmacy and make a difference to the health of the people you see in your practice.

Here is your chance to continue to build on the leadership training that you may have already done for HLP accreditation and to complete a nationally recognised NHS Leadership Academy development programme, which will award you with the NHS Leadership Academy Award in Healthcare Leadership.

There is usually a fee for this programme, but your places are being fully funded via the Pharmacy Integration Fund (PhIF); an opportunity not to be missed.

The programme runs for six months, consisting of an online platform and three study days in Reading, preparing you for the demands of leadership in the healthcare system today.

To apply, first, register for an account on the NHSx website. Then, access and complete the application form for this programme.
