UPDATE: Two important tasks for all NHS Smartcard users to read and implement

All smartcard users need to confirm acceptance of Terms & Conditions and then have the opportunity to register for the new Self-Service Unlock process. We recommend that all eligible Smartcard users register for this very useful time saving service.
Simple one pager documents have been created by the NHS South, Central & West Commissioning Support Unit (CSU) team to demonstrate the actions required of all Smartcard holders. The first is compulsory for all, the second is highly recommended:
- All Smartcard holders are required to accept the new Terms & Conditions that came into force to ensure GDPR compliance. Please read the one page guidance document below and take the necessary action:
- Opportunity for Smartcard holders to register for Self-Service Unlock process. This is a very useful function that enables cardholders to unlock their card themselves following a simple process - this can only be done by registering.
