OPPORTUNITY: Free NHS funded community pharmacists minor ailments training course

This is funded via the Pharmacy Integration Fund for pharmacists working at least 15 hours per week in community pharmacy and who are not currently part of any NHS England schemes. Read on for more details...


The Minor Ailments Course is coming to the Wessex region, being hosted at one location in Dorset and also in Bath and London as alternative venues (if more convenient for those of you nearer them).

Venues and dates for face to face workshop:

Tuesday 26th February 2019
London
Wednesday 27th February 2019Bath
Saturday 2nd March 2019Bournemouth

Start date for the on-line course:

Monday 28th January 2019

Aims of course:

To support community pharmacists in providing advice to patients attending for minor ailments, including referrals from general practice and NHS111.

The course is completed on-line over 9 weeks with one additional mandatory face to face workshop.

If you are eligible for the funding, this will support your GP and community pharmacy roles. As a reminder, this is funded for pharmacists working at least 15 hours per week in community pharmacy and who are not currently part of any NHS England schemes.
