MyCiP - 'My Care in Pharmacy' service continues to spread across Hampshire

Following the successful pilot in the New Forest in 2016 and its continued commissioning there, the initial CAMHS ADHD service has now been rebranded as My Care in Pharmacy (MyCiP). The service is now spreading to surrounding local CAMHS Teams within Hampshire. The first additional area implemented was in and around Basingstoke, with the next area due to be implemented being the Havant CAMHS team. The Havant locality covers the large south-east Hampshire CCG area from Bordon & Liphook in the north to Hayling Island in the south.

A select number of community pharmacies with the highest dispensing numbers for prescribed antipsychotic medications used in ADHD treatment have been engaged with recently to start this service for eligible patients later this year. Community pharmacies will meet with the local CAMHS Team to discuss all aspects of the service to ensure a smooth transition for patients prior to go-live.
