New resource available online from Rehab4Addiction

Rehab4Addiction hope you, your family, and friends stay safe by making the proper precautions as we continue with these troubling and confusing times and we watch the worldwide pandemic unfold with coronavirus.

The Community Outreach department with Rehab4Addiction serves as an online resource to those dealing with substance addiction.  They have now created the following website page 'COVID-19 and mental health guide' which is a useful read or signposting resource to use in your professional practice.

The educational guides were created to assist increased awareness and understanding of all aspects of dealing with the stress of the lockdown and bereavement. With the current coronavirus pandemic, many who live with depression are struggling to stay afloat during mandated or self isolation.

The aim is that this informational guide can be one of many stepping stones for those struggling; as well as their loved ones to better understand their situation and lead them to find a supportive and safe environment. This is especially important during the pandemic.

Please check out the guide on the following Rehab4Addiction website page:

This information has also been added to our CPSC website page 'Mental Health, Resilience & Wellbeing Resources' where it is included as an additional resource.
