Continuation of Free of Charge PPE

Extended to March 2024 or until stocks are depleted
The free provision of Covid PPE to the healthcare sector has been extended by one year to March 2024 or until stocks are depleted (whichever is sooner). The scheme will provide protection for frontline staff against Covid as part of the government’s Living with Covid strategy.
The Department for Health and Social Care will publish details about stock-out dates by PPE category by April 2023. Further information about the extension and the scheme can be found on the DHSC website.
