SPS (Specialist Pharmacy Services) is part of the NHS, their purpose is to be a source of impartial advice for pharmacists and other professionals using medicines.
Their team consists of approximately 100 whole time equivalent pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and support staff.
Information available from SPS includes:
- Medicines supply tool including latest information on supply issues
- Medicines safety
- Professional medicines advice
