From 1st April 2019, amendments to the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001 and the Safe Custody Regulations 1973 come into force for these two medicines. Read on to read a quick summary of what this means for pharmacies...
Pregabalin and Gabapentin will be reclassified as Schedule 3 Controlled Drugs (CDs) on 1st April 2019. In advance of this the following PSNC Briefing explains the key requirements as follows:
