Prescription Levy Fee to Rise to £9.90

From 1st May 2024
The Government has announced the NHS prescription charge will increase to £9.90. This will come into effect from 1st May 2024.
Pre-Payment Certificates
- The cost of a three-month PPC will become £32.05.
- A 12-month PPC will become £114.50.
Providing a saving for patients needing any four or more prescription items in three months, or 12 or more items in a year.
The HRT PPC will also increase to £19.80.

Community Pharmacy England has produced posters that can be displayed from 1st May.
