The postgraduate Pharmacy Practice Programme at King’s College London is a part-time programme for qualified pharmacists working in community, primary care or general practice who wish to develop excellent clinical knowledge and consultation skills.

As an RPS Foundation School, the programme we provide is aligned to the Foundation Pharmacy Framework. The programme consists of short modules that can be taken alone or in combination to lead to a postgraduate award (Certificate, Diploma or MSc). Practitioners on this competency-based programme combine university study with continuing professional practice, and will be supported by academics and practitioners who are experts in their field. The programme delivers a combination of face-to-face sessions (approx. 1 day per fortnight), web-based learning materials and self-directed study. There is the option to undertake the GPhC-accredited Practice Certificate in Independent Prescribing module as part of the programme, which incorporates advanced physical assessment skills.

For further information about the programme please see the attached flyer and view the Online Prospectus. If you have a query, please contact Nicola Husain, Course Director at nicola.husain@kcl.ac.uk or 020 7848 4838. Applications can be made online via the Online Prospectus.
