New Virtual Outcomes Training Module:

This module has been produced to support you to refresh your knowledge about the recent changes to the Hypertension Case Finding Service (Blood Pressure Checks). It provides an overview of how all the community pharmacy team can be involved in providing the elements of the service.

• Do you and your team know that this new service means that GP Practices can send patients to your pharmacy for blood pressure checks?
• Do you know how much your pharmacy will get paid for doing the checks?
• Would you like some ideas about how to proactively approach patients in your pharmacy about the service?
• Are you clear about how to implement the service is and the actions you and your team need to take?

The course is split over two modules to support the delivery of the service

This online training is provided free of charge to all community pharmacies located in Southampton, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, and Portsmouth. The training has been funded by Community Pharmacy South Central to help pharmacies meet their requirement to deliver services and support health promotion activities throughout the year.
