New discount scheme for reusable period and incontinence products available

Hampshire County Council, in partnership with Southampton and Portsmouth City Councils, has worked with a number of suppliers to provide Hampshire residents with a minimum discount of 15% on reusable incontinence and period products with online suppliers.
Did you know that every year 4,200 tonnes of disposable incontinence and period products are thrown away in Hampshire? That’s the weight of 40 blue whales!
But there are now many reusable, hygienic alternatives that can save users hundreds of pounds in the longer term, as well reducing the amount of single-use plastic thrown away which requires costly disposal. To help people who are thinking about making a switch to reusable products, Hampshire County Council, Southampton City Council and Portsmouth City Council have partnered with a number of suppliers to offer residents a discount of at least 15% on purchases of reusable period and incontinence products.
