Following the successful pilot in the New Forest in 2016 and its continued commissioning there, the initial CAMHS ADHD service has now been rebranded as My Care in Pharmacy (MyCiP). The service is now set to be spread to surrounding local CAMHS Team areas over the coming year, with the first additional area being implemented in and around Basingstoke.
A select number of community pharmacies with the highest dispensing numbers for prescribed antipsychotic medications used in ADHD treatment have been engaged with to start this new service for eligible patients later this year. Community pharmacies will meet with the local CAMHS Team to discuss all aspects of the service to ensure a smooth transition for patients prior to go-live.
