ALERT: Have you registered for providing the NHS Flu vaccination service?

Reminder: It is essential to register if you wish to provide NHS Flu vaccinations in your pharmacy

It has recently been brought to our attention from NHS England South (Wessex) that a pharmacy contractor failed to register with NHS England for the Flu vaccination service before sending in a claim for payment to NHSBSA for the vaccines they had done that month. Unfortunately this has resulted in a rejection of the claims made in this instance.

If your pharmacy has not yet registered, we recommend you do so ASAP on the following link. The Service Spec states quite clearly that this should be done prior to providing the service and there are numerous further reminders not to make a claim for payment prior to registering.
