Hampshire County Council have launched a new website – Live Longer Better

To support older people and those who work with them to help them live life to the full
The Live Longer Better Hampshire website has been developed, in partnership with Energise Me and Hampshire residents to highlight key preventable conditions. The aim is to support older people and those who work with them to make positive changes that will give them the best opportunity of living life to the full.
Live Longer Better (LLB) is a national initiative to help older people stay independent, feel more active and keep doing what they love. In Hampshire, we live a long time, however, our life expectancy does not necessarily correlate with healthy life expectancy - that's the number of years individuals perceive they live in good health.
How you can help:
· Explore the new website and consider how it can help your patients.
· Access and use the professionals page which includes a resource hub.
· Sign up to the professionals newsletter and Live Longer Better Hampshire Community via Microsoft Forms.
This website complements, and signposts to, the Connect to Support Hampshire website where residents can find a wealth of additional links to services, groups and information to stay connected and independent in older age.
