URGENT ACTION REQUIRED: Flu vaccination training - Expressions of interest requested for local venues

NPA Flu vaccination training 2018

Each year over the previous couple of years, Community Pharmacy South Central and Dorset LPC have jointly coordinated the provision of a reduced cost NPA training course to enable pharmacists to participate in the forthcoming vaccination season. The training needs to be repeated every two years.

To help guide us in the provision of training dates for you this year, please can you indicate on the attached spreadsheet the names of pharmacists, location and preferred venue that you would like to receive such training this year.

Please also indicate whether a Sunday 1/2 day option is something that you would favour rather than our usual 1/2 day mid week dates.

• In 2017 we were able to host three events - two in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire and another at Wimborne, Dorset
• In 2016 we were able to host two events - one in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire and another at Wimborne, Dorset.
• In 2015 the numbers attending for H&IOW were 23 in total.

Note: It is recognised that pharmacists working within the Multiple pharmacy group companies will have their own recognised training programmes, and hence employee individuals should check with their own companies first before expressing an interest for this NPA training.
