Dexcom ONE CGM Transmitter and Starter Kit to be added to the drug Tariff from 1st March

Information to support patients using Dexcom ONE Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) for their diabetes

The Dexcom sensors are already in the Drug Tariff, but from 1st March both the transmitters and the starter kit (1x transmitter and 1x sensor) will be added. All can be ordered from Alliance.

A patient will need 4 transmitters a year as they need to be replaced every 3 months.

Can I shower or swim while wearing my Dexcom ONE?

Once snapped into place, the transmitter is water resistant, protected in water for depths up to 2.4 meters for 24 hours.

Is it painful to insert and wear a Dexcom ONE sensor?

According to a survey of Dexcom users, 84% said the sensor insertion was painless. 100% said the applicator was easy to use.

How will I know when to replace my transmitter?

You will get a notification on your phone when the transmitter battery has died or there is a problem detected.

How can I get rid of the sensor adhesive?
