Covid Vaccination Service Spring 2026

The service specifications for the COVID-19 and Influenza Seasonal Vaccination Programmes for 1 April 2026 – 31 March 2027 have been published, along with a letter for providers which summarises the key changes to the service specifications.

To participate in the Spring 2026 COVID-19 vaccination programme, primary care providers must opt into the 2026/2027 advanced service, in which you are agreeing to offer both COVID-19 and flu vaccinations when relevant to do so over the course of 2026-2027.

Pharmacies that register before 2nd February 2026 can expect to be ready to vaccinate at the start of the Spring COVID-19 2026 season. The Spring COVID-19 vaccination programme will run from 13 April 2026 and end on 30 June 2026.  Please read the documents in full before registering for the service. 

How to Register

Each Community Pharmacy opting in to participate in the Community Pharmacy Service Specification COVID-19 and Adult Influenza Vaccination programmes: 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 must opt in via a  National MS Form

This form can be used to opt in until 31st March 2026, however anyone signing up after 2nd February will not receive vaccine from the start of the campaign. 

From 1 April 2026, opt in will be available through the NHSBSA’s  MYS portal
