COVID Booster for community pharmacy staff

Community Pharmacy staff are able to book via the NBS on or after the 6-month anniversary of their 2nd dose

The COVID-19 vaccination national booking service (NBS) is open for frontline health and social care staff to book a booster vaccine appointment through self-referral.

As part of the booking process, you will need to self-declare you are a frontline health or social care worker. You may be asked to show proof of employment at your appointment.   

Proof of employment as a HSCW includes one of the following: 

  • A workplace photo ID, 
  • A recent payslip which shows employer (last 3 months). 

Employment as HSCW will be recorded in the IT system together with vaccination details.
