An update from PSNC
PSNC and officials from DHSC and NHSE agreed to an outline offer earlier in the summer subject to cross-government agreement. However, the change in ministerial teams within the government mean that this has been delayed.
In the current situation it is not clear whether or when sign off and announcements will be forthcoming.
The detail of the deal does include a timetable for rollout which will now not be met. To address this PSNC have agreed with DHSC and NHSE that individual elements of the timeline will necessarily need to be finalised once they are in a position to communicate the content.
